A street game exploring the first time you make out with someone

Higher than the Stars is a game in the Intimacy Playlist, a set of street games exploring different moments of romantic intimacy in our lives. Higher than the Stars is set in junior-high school, in which players take part in a class where they pass notes to find people to “pair” with, and then spend a night phase trying to sit close to their partner without being caught by anyone. The full version of the game uses RFID readers synced to a central server to track pairings.

Higher than the Stars first appeared at Indiecade and has been featured at Come Out and Play and the Sundance Institute Labs.
